Alright guys–this recipe has been a long time coming. It’s so easy I never realized how many of you all were interested in it. Get ready to make the easiest and tastiest green juice that’s actually good for you!
To say the least I’ve never been the gal to drink ‘green juices’ or do those juicing cleanses. I knew I needed to find a way to get my nutrients in while not hating my drink 100%. First, I am going to share the products I use (or similar if mine are not in stock). Don’t worry I’ve researched and they all have amazing reviews!
We have had ours for 5 years and its going strong but unfortunetly is discountiued. Below, the Cuisinart juicer is the compact version of ours (way more affordable too, ours was +$150). The second one I linked has almost 5 stars with 7,000 reviews! It’s also more affordable, so I highly recommend it.

I have the 12 oz mason jars, they are perfect when packing some for work or even to throw in a cooler on the road. It helps keep the juice fresh too. I also purchased the lids that can have a straw through it to make it easy to drink! If this isn’t your cup of choice no worries, I also included 18 oz glass bottles as well in case you prefer a small drinking spout. Both storage-friendly.
The glass carafe has been a lifesaver for me! I love me some masor jars but due to the pandemic I’ve been home a lot (like others I’m sure), but I’ve noticed A LOT more dishes lol. So I looked into a carafe alternative to have ready to pour when needed and its been perfect. It has a filter on it too so you can use for infusing water too.
I do want to note that you do not want to use plastic carafes or containers to keep store your drinks in. I use to have a plastic carafe and the juice stained it to the point where it had to be thrown out. I believe this has to do with the acidity from the juice. SO just be aware of that!
Alright, let’s go over benefits!
Before getting to this recipe I had a lot of trial and error juice blends (my poor husband). I finally narrowed it down to the benefits I wanted and noting down exactly what fruit and vegetables I liked.
- Lemon – if you know me I am a HUGE lemon/lime lover
- Ginger – was skeptical at first but now LOVE fresh ginger

FINALLY, here is the Recipe!
Lemon Ginger (Green) Juice
- 4 large lemons or 6 small – cut off the zest
- 2 large ginger pieces (4 inches total) – peel off the skin with a peeler
- 2 cucumbers
- 5 green apples (I love the granny apples)
- 6-8 stalks celery
Optional:
- fresh spinach – 1 cup
- fresh kale – 1 cup
You should have about 4 to 6 – 12-ounce servings, depending on the size of the fruit and vegetables. You can also store in a carafe, like the one I shared above. The juice has stayed fresh for me for 4-5 days when stored in the fridge. I usually make 1 large batch for the week. I typically don’t drink more than one in a day.
I have seen a huge improvement in my overall energy and digestion health. I also have noticed that it helps keep the cravings for sweets away, which is big since I love to snack. I will continue to use this recipe until the end of time!
If you have any suggestions or tweaks I would love to hear them! Also, I’d love to know if you try my recipe out – comment below if you do and tell me what you think!
Last, but not least – if you made it this far – thank you SO much for being here. I appreciate you and I hope you and yours are doing amazing!
